Sioux Moon Dancer

The Sioux tribe has many traditional dances that are dedicated to prowess in the arts of hunting and warfare. This Moon Dance, though danced in slow rhythmic steps, describes a definite violence. The short stubby arrows and mock war club are symbolic. The unusual application of color makes each print one-of-a-kind.
